LIC pays ₹12,207.25 crore dividend to government

LIC said it is completing 70 years and as on March 31, 2026 the asset base stood at ₹59.03 lakh crore. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman receives a dividend cheque of ₹12,207 crore for FY 2025-26 from Life Insurance Corporation of India CEO and MD R.
